I am a full-time graduate student and Zumba enthusiast. I am also a mother, a wife, and a lover of words–both written and spoken. Cooking is my nemesis, cleaning my love, and researching feminism and social issues my passion.
I use this space as a journal, of sorts. I store my thoughts, opinions, and the occasional family anecdote here. Mostly, I write to sort through the jumble stored in my head.
I have been married for over 4 years and have 2 beautiful children (14 months apart). I have also had 4 miscarriages (after the 2 kids) and grieve openly.

I am a former Mormon, a current atheist, and a believer in humanity. I can be funny but lean toward the serious side.
I adore Facebook, am on Twitter (still figuring that one out), and can be reached by either one or by e-mail at hereeverymomentcounts[at]gmail[dot]com.

Just discovered your blog. Love that you are trying to capture precious moments! I have a new baby (6 weeks old tomorrow) and am desperately trying to do the same. Enjoying the chaos – I like that.
Praying for Manly!

My son is just finishing undergrad work and will be going to medical school, too. Quite a long haul, isn't it?

Hi! I stumbled on here through possibly related posts on my blog when I had written about the quote from the movie Signs. I liked your take on it and then read your About Me page and I could so relate to it. Wanted to stop and say Hi!
